Whitehead Rocks - Lynne Mahood

I was one of the first to receive a beautiful rock.

I live in a lovely area in whitehead and know most within my area but this person I had never met.

She decided to give hope to our street.

I first knew of it when my friend across from me posted her gift . I ran out and I was so pleased .

I lost my dad in Jan to cancer.

I went back to work within a few weeks and I don’t think I really had time to grieve . I was having a sad day missing him, thinking of my work , worrying about kids and parents.

The last few weeks before lockdown I was encouraging children to paint rainbows 🌈 we have them still up within our play room so when I got the rock it just lifted me so much ..

I cherish it and have now met a lovely new neighbour who I’m enjoying chatting to daily . ❤️
