Walking along the Portrush promenade,

With a bright blue sky,

Overlooking the East strand beach.

Sounds of the seagulls drowning out,

The noise of Barry’s amusements,

The RNLI boat going into the harbour.

The raft race,

From Portush west strand beach,

Enjoyment for everyone.

Seeing the windsurfers, sailing boats

People walking along the sea bare foot,

Wonderful beauty to see from the promenade.

Portrush the Gold Coast,

The golden nugget in everyone’s heart,

Moorhead is one of the nuggets to see.
